I'm ~6 months on T right now. My T levels at 3 months were 32 nmol/L, which was high but could be reasonably explained by me not waiting long enough after gel application before getting my blood taken, so I didn't think much of it and they lowered my dose from 2 pumps of Androgel to 1. I've been following that dosage, yet my most recent results were so high they couldn't even detect the exact amount (>52 nmol/L).

Do I need to be worried? Is contamination common, have you guys experienced it before? I'm 100% sure it isn't the lab's mistake.

All of my other results (general blood tests and liver function) were fine, though I am still waiting for my estradiol results. I've been having no symptoms of excess testosterone like acne or mood changes, my period even returned during the months on this lower dose which I took as a sign that my testosterone levels lowered as they were supposed to. Obviously I will be getting my bloodwork redone as soon as possible, but I'm just stressed that I've screwed up my health which would mess with my future medical transition for private reasons.

I know I'm being overly worried, but I think I just need some advice or reassurance that I'm not the only one who has experienced this. Thanks in advance : )
