My birthdays is coming up and I decided to treat myself to a new 3d printer as my old Ender 5 Pro is 4-5 years old.
I ordered a K2 Pro Combo and after Fedex lost my shipment for several days it finally arrived. The box looks fine, no damage anywhere. As I unpack the printer I discover that the right side plastic panel has a crack in it.
I think no biggie, Creality is a pretty decent company they'll send me a replacement. I send them the images of the damaged panel, its not much damage, but enough that it shouldn't have left the factory, especially at this price proint.
Instead of a "we'll take care of it" I am stuck in some revolving hell between Creality and Seel (Seel is a shipping protection company I purchased protection from when I bought the printer).
Creality is looking at Seel, Seel's opinion is to send the printer back for a refund. Easier said than done when it weights 70+ pounds. I just want a flippin' panel, its not a expensive or heavy part, its a heck of a lot less than a glass door they sell for sub $50.
At this point I feel like taking all the effort and boxing the thing up and returning it anyway since this has left such a negative impression and getting something else if anything at all.
Anyone else had issues like this? If so how did you slog through things?
