I'm coming from a state where curbside recycling will pick up clean cardboard if it's flattened and bundled. Currently in Ahwatukee and I just learned that large cardboard would have to be saved for bulk pickup. I refuse to pass judgment, but what? Can anyone direct me in how best to recycle cardboard boxes but do not fit in the blue bin? Additionally, I had an old metal shelf that I broke down and put in the garbage bin but was told that they would pull it out and not take it? Everything online seems salesy and contradictory. Please help!
