Advice on a 50-year-old newbie

Hi everyone. Newbie Canadian here. I’ve done some research and reading about peptides and what may be best for my situation. I’ve come to the following conclusion and wanted to get some advice on it and ask a few questions.

I’m almost 50, 6’2 and 265 pounds. I train at a local gym 3-5 times per week and walk/run or ride peloton bike 2-3 times per week. I’m working on adjusting my diet to be more tight and in line with goals. Generally I get 130-160g protein in a day.

My biggest issue is I’m on a well known SSRI for panic attacks that causes massive weight gains - Paxil. For those that have been on this or an alternate SSRI understand these are so hard to lose weight on. But unfortunately necessary for my panic disorder.

What I’m looking to obtain is Reta and Tesa to try to attack fat loss.

I have never taken any GLPs before nor have I taken Tesa. I’d like to start low and titrate up as necessary. I’ve read a few times to maybe start at 2-3 lower doses per week rather than once a week? What are your thoughts on that? What do most people start Tesa at?

Do I need to continually monitor blood sugar levels while doing this? If so how often?

I see some people talking about BAC water with some peptides. Is that something I need? I’m not educated on that part.

Lastly, will I need to pin on certain days when not working out or will I be ok to workout that day?

Thanks so much all!
