There currently is a sale in a local store on new Dali Oberon 1s - with currency conversion it would something like $220 instead of $400. I think they're being discontinued? But only the 1s are one sale, the others are out of my budget.

In any case, these interest me, but I would like to be kind of sure they'd be a decent fit. They would be in my living room on a bookshelf at above 1m height. The room size roughly is 14m square.

They would replace some old Technics SB-HD301 speakers I'm currently using. Source is a Marantz MCR612 for CDs and a turntable. Usages are music and watching movies. I am no audiophile snob although I want the best I can get for roughly $200 and those seem like a nice opportunity.

Local hifi store has a Mitsubishi DP-86DA for sale for ~$200, completely checked and refurbished. I can't find many infos online, but I am interested, especially since it's fully automatic and has size selector for 7", 10" and 12".

It would be my main (and only) one (don't have one at the moment).

I paid half in advance to reserve it and I'm going back there next week to test it before committing or not.

Any opinion/advice on that model, or things to test for? I am no vinyl expert at all.
