How do I filter out applicants that want cash under the table?

I think we offer a competitive rate for our area, and are also willing to provide a health insurance stipend if necessary. How do we keep folks interested in cash under the table from applying to our job and ultimately wasting everyone’s time? Seems odd to put it so bluntly in the ad.

I’m so sick of it all.

I had my (36F) mom (56F) blocked for saying awful shit to me last week.

We have been vvlc for about a year.

She reached out to multiple people (our dad that she’s divorced from and his family members) that she doesn’t even speak to anymore and that DO NOT like her to relay a message to me and my sibling that she had “important medical information” to share with us and to please have us get in touch with her. She told them she was diagnosed with emphysema and had to get a procedure to “suck an infection out of her lungs”

I unblocked her to see if she would reach out directly with some clarification (because I haven’t learned my lesson yet). Assuming she sent messages before this that I didn’t get while she was blocked. She called when I was an hour away from home, on my way back from a specialist appointment for my daughter who had just fallen asleep in the back seat. I guess since the call went through she assumed I got whatever previous messages she sent and chose to ignore them.

I’m just so fatigued y’all. The odd thing is that she doesn’t EVER not respond. Like ever. She can’t help herself. I’m thinking I might be blocked. I sent the last message on Mother’s Day (day before procedure).
