Do ultra-wide monitors genuinely improve gaming and productivity, or are they more of a niche preference?

Ultra-wide monitors seem to be getting much more popular lately, especially for people trying to balance gaming, content consumption, and work setups on a single display.

Some users say the extra screen space completely changes the experience for racing games, open-world titles, multitasking, and editing workflows. Others feel that standard 16:9 monitors are still more practical because of compatibility, desk space, pricing, and overall usability.

For those who switched from a regular monitor to an ultra-wide setup, did it feel like a major upgrade in daily use?
Was the difference more noticeable for gaming immersion, productivity, or both?

Also curious if there were any downsides after long-term use, things like game support issues, neck movement, desk setup limitations, or performance demands.

Would be interesting to hear whether people felt the switch was genuinely worth it or more of a preference-based upgrade.

This is something that seems to confuse a lot of people when setting up their mouse for gaming.

Higher DPI is often marketed as better or more advanced, but at the same time, many experienced players seem to prefer lower DPI with adjusted in-game sensitivity.

For those who have experimented with different DPI settings, did higher DPI actually improve your control or accuracy in any noticeable way?
Or did it mostly come down to finding a comfortable sensitivity that works for your playstyle?

Also curious if this changes depending on the type of games, like competitive shooters versus casual or story-driven games.

Would be interesting to hear how people settled on their current settings and what worked best for them.

When people look to boost gaming performance, the first instinct is usually to upgrade the GPU.

But in a lot of cases, there are other factors involved, CPU limitations, RAM capacity, storage speed, or even thermal issues that can affect overall performance.

For those who have upgraded different parts of their system over time, what actually made the biggest difference for you?
Was it a GPU upgrade, or did something else have a bigger impact than expected?

Also curious if anyone experienced situations where a GPU upgrade didn’t give the results they were expecting due to other bottlenecks.

Would be helpful to hear real-world experiences on what upgrades actually move the needle the most.
