As the title suggests, every time I turn on my laptop to play Minecraft, it will freeze my laptop and I would have to do a hard restart.
This freeze starts by freezing my screen. As I was listening to music at the time, I noted that the music was still playing. After I tried to wait it out, it froze my whole laptop and blue screened. Since then I tried waiting a month in case it was a new bug, but it still happens. I would have to hard restart my laptop every time. The weird part is that after the restart, I can open Minecraft and play on it with no more issues. It is only the first time I turn on my laptop it will happen.
I have been trying my due diligence to try and figure out what's happening. This does not create a crash report as far as I can tell and putting the Minecraft log into the log readers online state that there is no issue. Searching online reveals no one having the same issue.
This is happening on a new laptop which I recently bought with probably sufficient specs (Legion Pro 7, with a 5070i, Intel Core Ultra 9) and I have allocated 6GB of RAM). I am playing fully vanilla on the latest version, 26.1.2, and using the Minecraft launcher. I don't even have data packs. It happens both on singleplayer and multiplayer.
I'm not quite sure if this type of post is allowed but I have gleamed over the rules of the subreddit and I have no other idea on what could be happening, or what I could do to fix it. I just want to play Minecraft hopefully someone could help.
