Wondered what different mineral block textures would look like with different colors
I spent way too much time on this damn thing

my take on sulfur springs
first pic is what i managed to build as what should be a propper spring. left is what mojang did
i am not saying what they made is wrong. is a really nice addition and i love it a lot! but i do believe they should be a bit more noticeable and punch packing. maybe add calcite around the cave so its more findeable! sulfur can naturally be found with calcite

That is creepy as hell...
I have been playing a solo modpack i had created for 1.12.2 and this message popped up with my real name in it. Fair to say it spooked me.

I saw a TikTok of someone drawing Minecraft vines on their wall, so I 3D printed some modular ones for my room!
I’ve been looking for some low-key gaming decor for a while. I recently came across a TikTok where someone hand-painted these vines onto their wall, and I loved the look but I'm definitely not an artist with a brush.
Since I have a 3D printer, I decided to design them as modular "pixel" sections instead. Each piece fits together so I can stack them in different lengths and formations. I used three different shades of green to get that authentic in-game look.
I’ve made a 3D render to show the full potential of the layout on a wall, but for now, I’ve only printed the first physical one to test the colors and fit.
Super happy with how it turned out! It adds a nice bit of depth to the wall that paint just can't do. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Some people wanted the file, it is mentioned in the comments :-)
Unpopular opinion: realistic Minecraft texture packs are just ugly.
I get that people say they look “impressive,” but to me they just ruin the whole vibe of the game. Minecraft isn’t supposed to look real. The simple, blocky style is what makes it good in the first place.
Most of those packs just look messy and over-detailed, and half the time I can’t even tell what I’m looking at. It feels like they’re trying too hard to turn Minecraft into something it’s not.
I’ll take the default textures over that any day.
Am I the only one who thinks this?

Is there a better way to get rid of paths?
So I’m in a creative duplicate of my work and I’m trying to figure out if there’s any faster way of turning paths back to dirt without having to go and break and replace everything

I made a castle with deepslate and red nether brick

I drew all Minecraft logos (main and spinoffs)
no Minecraft Education Edition because technically you can activate the features in Bedrock edition too

I found this Aura-Farming Villager in my Survival world

What the hell did I find?
Found this while exploring the nether, I only have performance mods like Sodium installed, nothing that should alter world generation like this.

Are there any skin packs for the main player characters that have them as actual skins?
I’d just like to have them as normal skins that aren’t editable.

Skeletons in Java vs Skeletons in Bedrock
why are the skeletons so broken 🥲
