Hey everyone, I ran into something weird with Roblox on PS5 and wanted to see if others have experienced this.
I had the PS4 version of Roblox in my library from years ago, but I’ve never actually played it.
Recently, the PS5 version suddenly showed up in my Purchased section with a new date
I didn’t manually claim it and didn’t get any email receipt
I “refunded” (removed) it… and it came back again a couple days later.
Same thing happened twice, only when I manually went in and clicked “Add to Library” did I finally get a proper confirmation email. There’s no playtime or etc.
So it looks like the PS5 version might be getting auto-added in the background if you already have the PS4 version, but PSN logs it like a purchase which makes it look suspicious.
I also saw someone on Facebook say Roblox randomly appeared on their PlayStation Portal without ever playing it, so this might be happening to others too.
Has anyone else seen this with Roblox or other free PS5 versions?
Curious if this is just how PSN handles free entitlements or if it’s a bug.
