I wanted to buy something on Amazon, but I only had crypto.

So I had Amazon credit I wanted to use, but only had crypto liquid at the time. Didn't want to sell on an exchange, deal with fees, wait for a bank transfer, etc. Just wanted to buy a thing.

After poking around, I found that ACEB sells Amazon gift cards (US, UK, Germany, Canada) paid directly in crypto. No account needed, no KYC, code delivered to email. Bought the gift card, redeemed it on Amazon instantly, and it was done in maybe 10 minutes total.

The "how do I actually spend crypto without an exchange" question comes up constantly, and the answer isn't complicated - gift card platforms exist specifically for this.

No fees beyond the card's face value, no linking bank accounts, no explaining to your bank why you're withdrawing from Coinbase again.

If you've got crypto sitting around and have been waiting for a practical use case that isn't speculation, this is probably the most boring and useful one.

The American dream looked very different 10 years ago

I moved to the States about 10 years ago and thought that I can stay here for good. It felt like things were finally coming together. I worked nonstop, even started a small business, rented for years, and about 5 years ago I finally was approved for a mortgage and bought a house. Felt like a huge milestone

But the last couple of years were the best and almost broke me. Business has been getting slower every year, costs keep going up, and lately it feels like I’m just trying to stay on float. I’m not drowning yet, but I tired of making ends meet each other

I thought about returning back home, the same business actually seems to have way more potential there. Indeed, the market there changed a lot while I was gone, and I feel like I’d have a better luck building something stable there than I do here at this point. My family’s been supportive too, which honestly makes the decision even harder because for the first time in years it feels like maybe going back wouldn’t mean giving up.

But having a house here holds me back. I need to repay the mortgage, and I have no idea what’s the best move if I decide to leave. I’ve read about companies that buy houses for cash and they can do it really fast. I saw Kind House Buyer while looking into options, but I don’t know anyone personally who’s sold a property that way

Has anyone here sold a house quickly like that because they were moving overseas or starting over somewhere else?

I’m trying to figure out if it’s a lifeline or if I’d just be shooting myself in the foot financially
