I’ve been trying to bake something that is about a 1” round sphere. Each time, I’ve used well conditioned clay and I have a thermometer in my oven. I’ve tried 60, 45 and 35 min. It always has little (or not so little) cracks.

What can I try next to try to avoid the cracks? (They do get smaller as it cools).
