I wasn't even aware this was a thing let alone that it's something eBay still allows. Truly the most lowlife, chronically online thing to do. Recently lost an auction after somebody bid literally 2 SECONDS before the end of the auction and I wasn't able to bid after obviously.
I love eBay, great for a collector like myself, but why allow scummy tactics like this making it unfair to everyone else with any common decency? Why haven't they implemented features to extend the auction time if bids are made past a certain time before the auction ends to prevent sniping?
This seems like an extremely easy fix if eBay would put in a second of minimal effort. Might have to use other platforms to avoid this since it looks like absolutely nobody cares about it...
