anyone out there also feel how awful these things respond (especially with an HDD)

Got a question anyways:

1. is the ram upgradable to 8gb since there's 2 ram slots? (or if its dual 2 gig if its 4 max?)

2. should I invest in buying an SSD for this (is it really worth it?)

I'm planning on doing some retro gaming type stuff on it.

SPECS:

AMD E-450 (32 bit unfortunately)

4gb ddr3 (single slot)

320gb HDD (5200 rpm iic?)
