Hello, everyone! I’m Rose (F23), and me and my partner, Kevin (M24), are looking for 1 or 2 people to take over our roommate’s lease, because they are moving out at the end of their semester. We’re open to couples sharing the available room!
The room is available starting June 1st at $1250 per month in the Longwood Medical Area with possibility of signing onto next year’s lease.Because this is a lease takeover, the only required move-in fee is first month’s rent ($1250).
All utilities included in rent except Wi-Fi and laundry. Laundry units are in the basement. We are open to negotiating the rent as well. Kevin and I are hardly ever home because of our work schedules, so you’d basically have the place to yourself most days, including weekends.
Our apartment is in Fenway / the Longwood Medical Area. We are a 3 minute walk from the Longwood Medical Area green line stop on the E line, and a fifteen minute walk from Ruggles on the orange line. We also have access to plenty of buses. Star Market, Target, Stop and Shop, and Walgreens are all within a fifteen minute walk as well.
The building itself is in good condition with good management! They maintain the property frequently, and send regular communication about building repairs. No pets allowed, sadly.
About us: Kevin and I both work full time in adaptive education. We like thrifting, hiking, and the occasional movie night. When the weather is nice, we are usually outside exploring parks and beaches. We’re looking for roommates around our age who we could be friends with! Must be queer friendly.
