[Anti-Aging] bovine collagen has been incredible for me (personal experiences/situation below)

THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE JUST PURELY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE THAT I WISH TO SHARE I'M NOT RECOMMENDING OR SUGGESTING FOR ANYONE TO FOLLOW MY PROTOCOLS TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE DOING ANYTHING THIS IS PURELY FOR DISCUSSION ABOUT COLLAGEN PEPTIDES

So I'm a male in my twenties and I've been into skincare and "anti aging" for many years now mostly because I have ADHD and I've been hearing about ADHD medications causing premature aging, so I've done my best to try to minimize it ever since I got prescribed as a kid. Doing all the basics, hydration, sleep , avoiding sunlight/wearing spf50 , moisturizer, serums, exfoliating, cleansers , and making sure to supplement magnesium calcium,D3,zinc,b vitamins, vitamin c , omega 3s and so on. Of course exercise and a healthy diet + a lot of antioxidant rich foods Plus I don't have acne but I've been using tretinoin for over 3years to promote overall skin health and as a preemptive "anti-aging" thing

The thing is even with all this I felt like something is missing and though I get compliments on my skin and actually do look younger than my Friends/peers my skin even looks better than it did as when I was 15 almost a decade ago. But since last year Ive started to get some issues like nails thinning getting softer , hair thinning and some falling out (noone male or female has ever gone bald atleast within the last 100years) and I started to develop this tiny line on my forehead that is visible in certain lighting and sometimes having a little bit of skin peeling near my eyebrows.

I tried to figure out what is going for months like getting lab tested for deficiencies etc going through all my products etc etc and I just couldn't figure out what was going on. then I decided to try being on and off my medications and noticed that my hair is only falling out while I'm on the medication

So that prompted me to do deeper research on how exactly do these medications negatively impact your appearance, aging and so on. I always thought it's purely due to the oxidative stress they can cause unless you take steps to minimize it

But then I found out that these medications can sap your collagen/mess with your collagen production. So then I found out about collagen peptides and just wow now ~6 weeks in to using 20+ grams a day

In the first week my hair stopped falling out completely and slowly everything started to heal. now my hair feels stronger than ever feels and looks very healthy, my nails are the strongest they have ever been with a nice glossy shine the small "line" in my forehead has disappeared , my skin stays moisturized the whole day, my whole body has an even smooth shine that just glistens in lighting, pores are aren't really even visible when looking close up,

All in all even though I have been happy and thought my skin is nice even before this I could have never even imagined how flawless it could be like when I look at my skin whether it be legs or my face it almost looks like it's been photoshopped.

I don't know how good the results would be if I hadn't spent years trying to perfect everything else regarding my health/appearance/skin but this final step of collagen peptides seems to have been the final piece to the puzzle pulling everything together

I'll keep you all updated if in the future I run into some unexpected changes, but for now I'm absolutely thrilled pure happiness whenever I get to see my skin walking past a mirror or whatever.

Sorry for the long post. id be very interested in hearing all of y'all's experiences with collagen or if y'all have any other non medical tips or ideas/questions or just want to discuss the topic ❤️😊

Switching between clean vocals and screaming?

So what is the technique to properly switch between clean singing and fryscreaming/false cord screams

I think I've gotten a decent grip on my fry screams and false cords by themselves but I can only sing full distorted lyrics or tunnels. The thing is when I sing clean or with grit I lose my ability to do screams and I basically have to completely stop singing for a few minutes to be able to scream. It's the same thing other way around as well if I first start with screams and then try to switch to clean vocals my range gets very limited like f3-e4/f4 (caps around the passaggio) and again I have to take a few minute break to get my full range back c3-d5 -(d6 reinforced falsetto/falsetto)

I feel no strain or tightness in my throat or body when singing/screaming so I don't think it's a straining issue like when I do screams it feels effortless the sound just pours out with decent resonance (been practicing for ~6months more or less almost daily) and clean singing is something I've been practicing almost daily for years so I shouldn't have any problems there. I also try to take good care of my vocal health (hydration, vocal exercises, sovt , massages , neck warmers , low vocal strain/fatigue speaking voice, good sleep, rest)

So basically I think there's some technique that hasn't clicked for me because I find that the way I produce regular vocals differs from the way I scream and when I'm doing either thing I lock myself out of the other. So if anyone has any tips on how to smoothly transition between the two ,or some tricks to switch between the "sound producing" modes that would be greatly appreciated

mainly decided to ask here since it's something that I've had trouble with since I first started to learn how to do different screams and it isn't really getting better even though I'm starting to be pretty happy with my screams and overall like my clean singing.

Ps. Sorry for making this so long if anyone actually brothered to read through everything I'm very thankful 😊
