I'm going to university to study music in September, and me and some friends who are already studying there are renting a house together with a basement we plan on turning into a studio. Us being students this of course means we're gonna have a lot of DIY projects to work on; soundproofing, guitar cabs etc. and I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience building spring reverb racks, and could offer some advice. What type of material works best for the box, what type of springs produce what effects, how complicated will the wiring be and such.

thanks for all the useful replies, i’ve found a manual from a kit i think i’ll follow for the schematics but out of arrogance and principle i’m gonna get the components and make my own board
