Massive Ship collection in Australia

📍Ballina, NSW, Australia.

Ballina Naval and Maritime Museum. Insane collection of model ships. Virtually all are scratch built years ago. Very impressive. A lot were not hyper detailed, or very detailed at all by today’s standards. However, the fact these were scratch built with wood mostly before computers I would assume is quite the marvel. All in large scales. Starting at 1/200 and going up to models of the Hood that were 8-9ft long! A small snippet of the hundreds of models. Seeing ships like my favourites like HMS Vanguard (1946) in 1/200 scale was fantastic. The Maine was the most impressive to me.
