I am trying to find shoes for my wedding. I refuse to wear heels and be extremely uncomfortable all night (I also am terrible at walking in heels). I am hoping to find some cute white sneakers that I can embroider or something to make them more bridal. I wear a men's 9.5 2E in my normal Saucony running shoes. I also have a wide midfoot that is difficult to fit.
I tried wide keds and they kinda fit, but the long/wide ankle opening looked really silly on me and kind of bent and folded odd. I really love the look of converse (and the fact that I can order them customized and won't have to decorate them myself), so I have ordered a few wide sizes in both high and low tops to try, though I am not sure how much hope I have for them. I might try some white vans old skools, but am not sure yet.
I am trying to find a pair in a couple weeks as I need them by my dress alterations appointment, so I am just buying en mass and will return what does not fit (so, a good return policy are a must!)
