Is it concerning that my bf (22 M) gave his number to a girl who used to be into him, and is reassuring me (22 F) that it’s not crossing a boundary?
He met her at a bar one night while out of town before we started dating, and I guess a few weeks ago she reached out to him on some social media platform (to my knowledge, she’s religious and nothing happened between them when they met). They exchanged numbers, he didn’t say anything to me about it and I guess they had a few conversations. When I asked him who she was my bf was very open about it and showed me the texts, but when I asked him if he had mentioned me he got defensive, saying the conversation was casual and essentially that there was no need. Do I need to be concerned? I know my bf loves me, but something about it feels off.
