I dont have time to deal with this fuckin truck. The new fuel pump solved the low fuel pressure issue, but its still not running right.

I limped it to a shop in town for diag.

And wouldn't it be just my luck that the isolator bushing for the steady bearing decided it was time to fall apart half way to the shop.

I just cant win. Later in the day after dropping the truck off....my car burst a brake line. When it rains, it pours I guess 🙄😵😵‍💫

More fun with the 97 STS.

A big truck pull out onto the highway without looking and I had to slam on the binders.

Blew the brake line off for the rear driver side wheel.

Unfortunately, the bulkhead it attaches to is hidden up beside the gas tank where I cant get my hand into without dropping the tank.

I just zipped off the remaining piece of line and plugged the hole with the ol' electric glue gun for a temporary fix to stop the leak until I can make a proper repair.

In the whole car (while looking on the hoist), that 3" piece of line in the picture is the ONLY rusty section of brake line.

A good friend of mine owns a repair shop where I live and he was gracious enough to let me borrow a hoist during work hours and I cant thank him enough.

Now we wait to see what breaks next 😒

Not even half a spec of dirt in the tank. Perfect.

New pump fixed the low fuel pressure problem as I suspected it would.

Now I have to track down a misfire. No codes, but one cylinder definitely is not firing. Thankfully its not the famous lifter failure issue though.

In the morning im going to unplug coils and injectors 1 by 1 and see which hole doesn't make a difference.

I will beat this evil piece of shit one way or another 😆😆😆

Good to finally get that out.

Ill pressure wash everything tomorrow when I wash the car and slam er' back in. Hopefully this fixes the low fuel pressure issue.

Any ideas on how to get the rear passenger door open on a 2004, 2500. The handle on the outside and inside dont work. Something feels bound up.

Every time I turn around...something new is broken on my 04 2500.

Truck has been sitting for weeks waiting on a fuel pump. I go to lift the hydraulic dump deck to make changing it easier. What do I spot. A broken leaf spring (i did the other side a few months ago).

I have a list a mile long of things I've changed in the last year. Its getting old. And now the rear passenger door won't open from the inside or outside. That'll be fun to fix (or even just get open).

Chrysler money pit.

Its motivated me to start working on fixing my actual daily driver thats been sitting with a bad transmission (95 powerstroke). If im going to spend unnecessary amounts of money to keep a vehicle alive, it may as well be that one.

Apparently this turned into a rant. Haha, sorry.
