UE5 Jumpscare Under 3 Mins

Tried something a bit different with this tutorial.

Instead of doing a longer Unreal Engine breakdown, I made a quick UE5 jumpscare setup under 3 minutes:

The goal was to keep it simple enough for beginners to quickly follow and use in their own horror projects.

Would love some feedback: is this kind of short tutorial useful, or does it feel too rushed?

I just finished a small series on building a game main menu, and the last part covers creating a full settings menu from scratch.

It includes things like graphics settings, audio sliders, and saving user preferences properly.

Thought it might help someone here working on UI systems:

Game Title: False Earth

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4529390/False_Earth_Demo/

Platform: PC

Description: False Earth is a horror game built around atmosphere, tension, exploration, and a stronger focus on story. I’ve just released the demo and wanted to share a new trailer with more gameplay. This has been a real passion project for me, and I’m trying to take a slightly different approach from more traditional horror experiences. I’m mainly looking for honest feedback on the atmosphere, gameplay feel, pacing, and overall first impression. If anything feels unclear, too slow, not effective enough, or could be improved in general, I’d really appreciate hearing it.

After a lot of helpful feedback on my first teaser, I went back and worked on the game some more. Now one of my passion projects finally has a demo and a new trailer with more gameplay.

A big thank you to everyone who shared feedback before, it genuinely helped improve the project. I’d love to hear what you think of the trailer and the demo.
