Hello, I hope you're all doing well!
To those unaware, Dispatch is a branching narrative superhero comedy game released recently by Adhoc. It gained immense popularity soon after the first and second episode release, and it's fame only ramped up when the entire game was out in the wilds.
While I was almost immediately head over heels for this larger than life team of supers, playing more and more I realised this game is really something special and incidentally has me in a chokehold. So what better way to express my love and hyperfixation for the game than to write about it? With you, I hope!
While all writing partners are welcome, the current pairings I'm wanting to explore are Robert and Visi (invisiagal) and Robert and Mandy (Blonde Blazer). I'd be happy to hear any pairings/suggestions that you've been craving too! I've got the most experience writing Robert, but I'm open to playing other characters in the world and even an OC if the plot demands it.
Speaking of plot, what's it going to consist of? Good question! With Dispatch's eight episodes telling a compelling narrative with a satisfying finale, I figured the medium of writing would be a great opportunity to peel off and write our preferred continuation of events with Robert as Dispatcher/Mecha Man and his frivolous efforts of helping Z-team! All the while developing the plot between our pairing. Of course, there's also the possibility of retelling the events of the game with a twist or two. AU's are always good fun!
So, what are the requirements? All I ask is that you be of legal age and knowledgeable on at least the contents of the general plot. This does not mean that you have had to play all of the episodes, though it would be much appreciated! I also welcome writers of all skill level as long as you try your best and enjoy doing it. I personally have been writing for over a decade but that doesn't mean I won't write with those who have less experience. :)
