Hey y’all, my ac has been acting up and will intermittently work by randomly deciding to not blow cold air. I noticed that when it does it the outside units fan stops, and only when it turns back on does the ac blow cold air again, so I’m not sure if I should start with the capacitor or the contactor since when I manually push it in it turns the unit back on but won’t stay in place, but then again it’ll work for anywhere from 4 minutes to a couple weeks. I apologize if there’s an obvious answer I’m a first time homeowner and trying to learn to do things myself. Location is south texas.

I love seeing y’all’s set ups and advice and all, but where’s y’all’s concession spot? I decided to turn my movie closet into a little theater pantry, as well as getting some bottles in the top shelf but waiting for some ventilation equipment before I do.
