[PC][2017-2020] Game where you clean up crime scene before police comes
Need to specifically mention that it was most likely from itch.io, because I was a broke kid who had parents that were strict enough to not allow any video games. But online games got under the radar.
Image might or might not be the game. This is from Body of Evidence and I've checked gameplay videos and it did not have what I'm describing. But maybe I played a demo or an early version, but I've check on the wayback machine to 2019 and there was no way to play it back then since it was still in development. Don't even think there's a way to play this game now, kinda just disappeared off the internet.
Platform(s): PC, from itch.io
Genre: Simulator
Estimated year of release: 2017-2020
Graphics/art style: Unsure
Notable characters: N/A
Notable gameplay mechanics: It is in first person. There was a time limit but I don't remember if there is a specific UI that shows the timer. All I remember is that the police sirens start to get louder and louder until the lights start to flash into the room. Don't know if it was the demo or if this was the only level.
Other details: The most memorable thing was that there was blood underneath the desk that was similar to the one in the image. And I did not know that so I failed it so many times until I finally discovered it.
A little tangent after I found the game: It seemed to be a lot more popular than I thought. Thought it was some 3 plays niche game. Everyone in the comments is also talking about the insane hidden spots. I'm surprised I got the year pretty close, mainly because I remember I played it on my new laptop (which exploded 6 years later RIP). Ran back to my apartment after class to check and there it was. The dreaded handprint under the table. It's another game stuck under development which is unfortunate.
