I have a Volvo V70 d5 it's only done 104k but it's a 59 plate. I took it in because EML came on, car was driving fine, the gears (automatic) aren't smooth but it has power and does what it should. They checked the codes it's all to do with exhaust system, they also took the engine cover and found what they said is a oil/diesel mix in the intake manifold (see picture) this is when they have said that the turbo seals are away and the engine is feeding itself with that oil/diesel mixture and that it could runaway and blow. My partner doesn't think that's right, our oil pressure and levels are fine, there is no black or blue smoke at all coming from exhausts, it's driving fine it doesn't splutter etc. he thinks it could be pressure sensor and or solenoids. Just hoping it's not going to blow up lol
