So I got a grade back for one of my essays and usually it’s the TA who grades our work, but this time it was the prof. I got a much lower grade than I usually do on the essays I write in this class(22% difference). I emailed the prof asking if she would relook at my essay and now I’m waiting. I’m wondering if she decides not to relook at it, would it be wise to go the formal route for reconsideration. Is a 22% difference normal?
