I work at a retail store. Long story short I got a new job. My first mistake was not putting in just a two weeks. My new job didn’t start for another month from putting my two weeks at my current job. I didn’t wanna be out of a job for too long for financial reasons. I gave them more than a two weeks notice and just said my last day needed to be 4 days before my new start date. I regret it. I want to go to the beach, watch the sunrise, go for a hike and enjoy life post grad before starting a new adult job. I’m 23 so I’m still wanting to live life to my fullest potential. I told my boss that my new job gave me the opportunity to start earlier so that if I could make my last day 4 days earlier than the original date. I have would have a full week to work and then I would also only have a weekend before my new job starts. When I asked my manager, she said no!!!!!!! I’m thinking about just texting her and saying hey, I’m sorry I’m not coming anymore. :/ Thoughts?

Edit: I have a long respectful message saying I’m making Saturday my last day. I would never just not show up. I gave a 2+ week notice. I just was just being generous, but customer service kills the life out of you.
