Issue: This is my personal laptop and my main account (4th pic - https://imgur.com/a/OQwm8EI ) is already signed in as admin. My alt account is also signed as an admin to check if it works or not - It doesn't (3rd pic - https://imgur.com/a/OQwm8EI ). So, there are 2 issues i'm currently facing; Admin access and Tamper Protection.
Talking about Tamper Protection, I've tried the RegEdit method,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender
There was a policy key folder so I yeeted it to check if I could access Admin - I couldn't. (Yeeted it but it's back... https://imgur.com/a/OQwm8EI 2nd img)
Then I used the RegEdit to try to edit the Tamper Protection value to 5, which obviously failed.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Features
(check image for error - https://imgur.com/a/OQwm8EI 1st img)
I googled a bit and ended up on Microsoft's forum and some fella said to edit this,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity
-> Enabled value and change from 1 to 0 to disable (source - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4182577/windows-security-tamper-protection-off-greyed-out )
Like always, I couldnt change the Tamper Protection.
However, after doing that, I had to uninstall Epic Games's Easy Anti Cheat as it was interfering with the Device Security (Core Isolation - Kernel mode).
I had to google to uninstall that seperately as after uninstalling Epic, it was still showing EAC error. I can't find what website I used to run the codes but they were Command Prompt commands, and I dont know if it worked with those or not as I manually searched for Epic/Easy in Program files 86x and manually uninstalled EAC for the 2 games that I had and then it finally disappeared.
Checked the Core Isolation and it worked.
I don't know what or which logs/information I'm supposed to attach, so, let me know and i'll attach them...
Thanks for your help!
P.S. - The link is to the direct post where all 4 screenshots are uploaded. If the link doesn't work let me know and i'll update with seperate posts/links.
Edit 1: Forgot to add this, (Pic 5 and 6 - https://imgur.com/a/OQwm8EI ). The smart windows defender keeps blocking the Powershell. This happened during the Core Isolation stuff.
