PSA: Issues with charging due to short cable
You may run into issues charging at certain Tesla Superchargers or chargers with short cables. I had to be that asshole and took up two charging spots to charge. Was not able to get my car closer to the charger because of the wheel stop until I re-oriented my car at a slant.
I recommend scoping out and looking at pictures of charge locations if you want to make sure you can charge! I've seen location where there are no wheel stops or places where the charger is on the side of the parking spot.
Workaround: I saw another car that drove on top of the wheel stop to get closer to the charge lol. Would not recommend for obvious reasons.
Another workaround: Looks like there is a company which is making a safe and certified extension cable but looks expensive.
Edit: The new Tesla chargers (V4) might work even with a wheel stop. Will have to try it out.
