Thinking of switching to a LiPo4 battery. Do I really need a DC to DC charger? Pulling with a 2015 Nissan frontier… details below.
First time trailer owner here! This is a New to us 2024 grand river 19BH. (Bought it from a local family dealership so we avoided Camp Mart luckily)
Thinking of switching to LiPo4 battery. But, Do I really need a DC to DC charger???
My power converter is a WFCO 8955 -AD so it should be compatible for auto detection and a simple swap out (unless am I missing something?? ) BUT I’ve read that I may need a DC to DC charger on my truck to protect the alternator/ battery… is this really needed? My Vehicle I’m pulling it with is a 2015 Nissan frontier…. I’ve read mixed opinions on this so I’ll probably get the same here but just curious what some of y’all say?
