Ex-AE (3 years), moved to Mid-Market CSM ~6 months ago. Now on £85k + 15% bonus + small equity. Way less stress and better WLB… but feels like my earning potential is capped.

I keep hearing Enterprise AEs in the UK can make £150k–£200k+. Is that actually common?

Torn between:

Staying in CS (stability, lower stress)

Going back to AE (higher upside, more pressure)

For those who’ve made the switch either way — any regrets? And is 6 months too early to judge this move?
