Dealer says 2026 RS3 doesn't need a break-in period. Is he tripping?

Hey guys,
I just ordered a 2026 RS 3 that’s set to arrive in July. While I was finishing up with the dealer, I casually mentioned my plan to take it easy for the first 2,000 km before really giving it some heat.
To my surprise, the dealer told me that a break-in period isn't necessary anymore and that I can "pretty much fly out of the dealership" at full tilt.
This sounds... sketchy? Even with modern manufacturing tolerances, jumping straight to redline on a brand-new 5-cylinder feels like just wrong.
Did any of you get the same "no break-in needed" talk from your dealership? Are you following the manual’s traditional 1,500 km break-in, or did you just send it from day one?
Thanks!
