Fotric Tk7 as a mid-range thermal cam?

It seems like fotric still doesn’t have a bunch of user feedback online. I thought I might ask in here before spending a ton of time comparing specs.

I have been looking at the Tk7 as a mid-range thermal camera. It’s not super cheap but also not the FLIR E-series pricing either. The main things that caught my attention were the 384x288 resolution, 30hz refresh rate and the fact that its focus free.

For building, HVAC and electrical inspections - that honestly sounds more practical to me than consistently adjusting the manual focus while walking around all day. But guessing it’s probably less ideal for really small targets or PCB-level stuff.

I’ve also been comparing it against cameras like the FLIR E8 Pro and Fluke Tis75+… FLIR obviously has the better reputation and ecosystem, but going back to 9Hz imaging sometimes feels sorta rough once you’ve used a smoother camera.

I’m curious if anyone has actually used the Tk7 or other Fotric handhelds for an extended time and wondering about their: build quality, software stability, temp accuracy over time and support/warranty experience.

Spec wise it seems pretty solid enough, but just hard to tell how they hold up long term in real life maintenance work. Thanks

Is an off brand immersion blender set good enough for home cooking or is it worth it for the Braun/Vitamix level set?

I was looking for an immersion blender for making more soups, smoothies, sauces, etc and possibly a little chopping… i don’t need commercial grade, just something for home use a couple days a week.
Obviously the premium brands are preferred and have the most experience, but they get so expensive when you start adding attachments like whisks, choppers, and cups. I saw the Koios set that looks like it covers basically everything I would need, but am always leery when one set has a bunch of attachments for a lower price.
For those that have used both the high end and cheaper versions of the immersion blenders, what do you find is the actual difference? Is it motor power? How long does it last? Does it have better plastic? Less splatter? Or is this one of the tools where the budget version is honestly fine unless you are using it everyday?
