Are there any local or close by rage rooms that take donations? Or would anyone want some chipped ceramics to break themselves? Please be careful tho 😅

I can count three, maybe there’s more, but from memory, there’s Amanda (director commentary and deleted scenes said/show that her dad abused her), the woman in the spike trap (yes, she knew her daughter was also being abused by her husband, but this is sadly common with mother/daughter abuse cases as frequent abuse by a partner can be extremely complicated), and a woman that participated in Bobby Dagen’s support group.

Sure, John’s traps are designed to see if you have what it takes to survive, but there are sooo many more people that deserve to be tested imo.

Amanda was tested because she was a drug addict, but the two latter women were tested because they didn’t do anything about being abused. Again, extremely complicated and especially so when it’s difficult to provide evidence and have your abuser convicted and jailed.

John obviously would have a sense to know about how difficult abuse cases can be, since Cecil, while you might not consider it frequent abuse since it was Jill’s chosen job, Cecil did take advantage of her kindness, and then did assault her, resulting in Gideon’s death. I’d assume that they filed a police report against Cecil, yet he was never found and charged. It was apparently weeks to months between the events of Gideon’s death and Cecil’s test. While it’s not hard to imagine that he evaded the police since they’re quite incompetent in the Saw series, still, you’d think John would understand abuse victims and how difficult abuse situations can be.

Also, why did John choose an actual innocent person? Joyce didn’t know that Bobby was a liar and she had absolutely no way to survive by herself, she had to completely rely on Bobby. It was completely unfair to her.
