renegades is a good expansion and the hate for it is the very definition of forced

this isnt me dismissing the state of the game.

but the actual expansion contents of Renegades were actually good and a lot of people are dismissing it because "le star wars slop" when its not that bad, sure, theres A LOT of references BUT its still a good story and had gameplay on par or maybe even better than Final Shape.

the renegade abilities are ALL fun and have uses, the praxic blade is a really unique and fun exotic

the frontier is an incredibly replayable activity

marathon is one of the few games where ill happily sit and read lore cards for hours at a time

the lore is just so well written in marathon, seeing what happened to the colonists and how everything fell apart is just so cool to see.

one of my favourite ones so far is the "emotional support plushie", i wont spoil it but that one gave me chills when i realized what happened at the end.
