Anyone using HW4 FSD daily in Toronto traffic?

Hi everyone, has anyone here used FSD on HW4 in Toronto, especially for a daily commute from midtown or downtown Toronto to Mississauga?

I’m wondering how feasible and reliable it is in real traffic, and whether FSD does better on the 401 or the Gardiner/QEW.

Also curious how it handles streets like Yonge, Bayview, and Mount Pleasant, especially when cars are waiting to turn left and blocking the left lane. A human would often move right to keep going, but I’m not sure how well FSD handles that.

After a long day at work, is it realistic to use FSD as a supervised driving assistant on routes like Gardiner → Bayview/Yonge/Mount Pleasant → midtown, or is it still too stressful in Toronto traffic?

Any real Toronto HW4 FSD experience, tips, or examples would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

For those in Canada who ordered the 2026 Tesla Model 3 Premium RWD from China on Friday night, what delivery estimate are you seeing now?

Mine originally showed May–June, but now it shows June only. I’m curious if anyone else’s estimate changed to June, stayed as May–June, still shows May, or if anyone has already been assigned specific delivery dates.

Just trying to get a sense of how Tesla is updating timelines for these new China-built orders in Canada, and to get a better idea of when I should realistically expect mine.

Thanks!

I’m planning to buy a used 2024 Model 3 from a dealer. The advertised price does not include the safety certificate, and they’re adding $895 for safety as a separate charge.

From what I understand, dealers in Ontario are supposed to follow all-in pricing, so I’m not sure if this is standard practice or not.

Is it normal for dealers to advertise a price without safety and add it later?

Also, is $895 reasonable, or should I be pushing to have it included or reduced?

Appreciate any insight!

Hey everyone,

I’m currently in the process of buying a used car (2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD) from a dealer in Ontario, and I wanted to get some opinions.

They’re charging $895 for the safety certificate, listed separately from the vehicle price.

From what I understand:

A safety certificate is required to register the car

But it’s usually expected to be included in the advertised price (all-in pricing rules?)

I’ve also heard the actual inspection itself is much cheaper

So I’m trying to figure out:

Is $895 reasonable, or is this inflated?

Is it normal for dealers to charge this separately?

Would it make more sense to ask for it to be included, discounted, or just take the car uncertified and do it myself?

For context, I’m trying to stay within a tight budget and already negotiating on price/mileage.

Appreciate any insight — especially from people who’ve bought recently in Ontario. Thank you!
