Today I went to REI and was disappointed to see that had installed an ALPR (Automatic license plate reader) to their parking lot. I talked to the manager to ask them to let the owner know I'm dissapointed, I feel like they don't really understand the negative problems with them.

I feel like if must customers knew how these are used to track customers and advertise to them I think they would be pretty upset.

If you're as annoyed as I am, I recommend going into the store and politely let them know you think they should remove it.
