I just traded in my 2013 Ram 1500 Hemi on a 2026 Ram 1500 Hemi and I am curious what others are saying about the orange peel on your paint jobs. I’ve done a little research and read that the paint jobs standards have changed significantly due to EPA standards, the change from using solvent products to water based products, along with robotic sprayers and blah blah blah. I’ve applied 2 coats of ceramic wax, and during the application because you are up and close is driving me nuts! In everybody’s experiences is the indeed correct that the standard for paint jobs nowadays. Again, first purchase in 13 years.
