Met a guy on fb dating about Mid March and we were talking consistently every day, although I could never figure out how to enable notifications on the app so I wasn't getting them and we got fed up and exchanged numbers. Now this guy lives over an hour away from me so it's not a bad distance, the problem is we have not even met yet.
In mild defence he works at a restaurant as a server on weekends and I only work m-f, but he's had PLENTY of times to take off work and come see me. Hell, he even took a week off from work to go to the beach and I wanted to meet up before taking my vacation at the end of April out of the country and he didn't do it.
We still text every day, but I'm getting frustrated. Friends and family have already told me to drop him and I am certainly considering, but I'm wanting to give him to the end of this month to plan something or I'm blocking him. I've made mentions of saying something like, "Hmm maybe you should skip work and come see me instead," type prompts and he acts like he's making plans but then the subject changes once again.
I think I just need some advice on how to better approach this.
