I have been at Deloitte for 2 years now, and was just told I am able to apply for secret clearance which is something I would like to pursue, and was directed to fill out a form and return it as the first step. However, I'm wondering if there is any point because I have used marijuana sporadically in the past few years, as recently as a couple weeks ago (its legal recreationally and medically in my state). Im assuming its an automatic no once I start the process in earnest and disclose it, but wanted to see if anyone else had been in this situation and how it went. Also, will Deloitte see the information I am submitting? If so then definitely have to decline I assume, as I'd lose my job. Ty for any info or advice!
