Hello, I’ve just been looking at my wire marks from my best fitting bra (panache/cleo blossom in 30G (uk) I can see that the wires at centre gore are ever so slightly sitting on breast tissue. I am very close set, if I’m sitting up braless there is the width of my little finger between my breasts. My breasts also quite soft and need a lot of immediate projection. 4 inch difference standing to leaning.
The wires at centre gore are not bothering me at all, they leave marks on breast tissue, but no discomfort. The wires marks at the outer side are actually wider than my breast tissue, (interestingly my larger breast appears to have narrower roots than the smaller one, but even on smaller side the wires are ok) the wkre marks underneath are not on breast tissue but in correct place, just the very centre on breast tissue.

I also need to wear this bra on middle or tightest hook. I did the band independence test, I can easily fit the 2 finger tension and twist the bra around a bit (which I need to do usually as I can’t hook bras at the back when putting them on, I need to hook at front and then spin it around. Anyway in the blossom bra if worn on loosest hook the band rides up my back slightly. The cup volume seems spot on, and band isn’t excessively big on testing it, the shoulder straps are not overly tight. Tbf all bras I try the band starts to ride up even if all obvious reasons for the band rising up are eliminated, wondering if my rib flares just below imf where the band sits causes this?

I tired the band independence test on some other bras I have atm, definitely Freya fancies 30 band too loose, and Freya fascinate moulded in 30 band too. Panache envy balconette 30 band seemed a good fit, blossom not as loose as fancies, but not as well fitting as envy.

Perhaps I am overthinking things if no discomfort, but it annoys me that I can never seem to achieve a parallel bra band. Also if I had tighter underwires I don’t actually know how I would get the bra on if I have to twist it round. Loose 30, snug 28.5, tight 27.5

I can wear the blossom bra all day without knowing it’s there, and the marks on tissue fade fast, so this could be a close set thing?

Here’s my first ever new/correct size bikini top. It’s the panache serenity in a 30G. I took a chance on it as it’s black and I already have a few black bikini bottoms which fit. It was also cheap and free delivery and returns from Next (bonus) I thought the cups looked too big before it was on, but actually im very slightly overspilling at gore. Overall I like the look, it feels supportive and contains the breasts. I don’t like how the straps are a bit wide on me, and that the thin straps seem a bit short too on me (5ft 10.5 with a long torso too)

My best fitting bra is the panache blossom in 30G/FF (depending on hormonal fluctuations) I appreciate that a bikini won’t be as projected (this serenity bikini does seem fairly squashy getting the cups on, and the foam cups were pushed down and folded by my boobs above, but a bit pf readjusting got them smoothed out.

The badly fitting bikini is a Freya bondi halterneck in size 34d (thanks M and S from about 20 years ago for sowing the seed of belief that I was a 34 band) this is how it is supposed to look: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/376795590410?\_ul=GB&rb\_itemId=376795590410&rb\_pgeo=GB&var=0&ff=11&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5339059258&toolid=10044&customid=EAIaIQobChMI3IrXxLWTlAMVKqNQBh2K7QbREAQYBCABEgKVQPD\_BwE&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3IrXxLWTlAMVKqNQBh2K7QbREAQYBCABEgKVQPD\_BwE&wbraid=CkEKCQjwtcHPBhD4ARIwAELTQ-mdzBd8MqB6HMy58UgvFjbs1iXcFj8jCpZG5EKAW7fmu9wPsT0-QZJC-b3yGgLVUg&gbraid=0AAAAADA7Q\_KsJfUCiN0NwY-gvmmu64Lx0&adtype=pla&loc\_physical\_ms=9225957&loc\_interest\_ms=&gad\_source=1&gad\_campaignid=20506529270&gbraid=0AAAAADA7Q\_KsJfUCiN0NwY-gvmmu64Lx0

I haven’t worn it in a few years, I got it about 10 years ago when I had no idea Freya was a bra brand I’d be eventually drawn to…but just wanted a colour block bikini, as that was all the rage) the last few years I’ve been wearing a nike sporty crop top bikini (which also fits soooo badly, no idea how I’d didn’t see it)

Think I will keep the panache as it definitely feels secure.

Hello,

My best fitting bra is panache Cleo blossom in 30G (UK size) only downside is it’s new and I need wear it on tightest hook, but otherwise it’s so prefect) my best moulded bra is Freya fascinate (I think it’s very similar to the moulded deco bra?) in 30G (again need tightest hook though) I’m between a 28 and 30 band depending on style.

Anyway I wanted to try a strapless bra for better outfit options. I tried the panache faith strapless bra (as it was cheap and quick delivery) size 30G. The band feels supportive and great, but the cups are such a bad fit. The wires are definitely too wide, and after getting their best fit into my imf, about half my breasts were not in the bra cup, they were above it. I struggled to even get the cups over my breasts, but once they were the moulded cups folded leaving a clear long fold in the cup, with about the lower third of cups being folded in at the bottom ( across the whole width of each cup) There is no way of wearing this bra without the fold and without spillage above. It was very hard to get the wires anywhere near my IMF as my breasts were pushing them down. I think overall cup volume was probably about right, but such a shape mismatch.

I would love to try another strapless bra. Honestly it’s been about 20 years since I had one (which was an awful fit, boob hat which fell down all the time. and totally fell off under a dress at a wedding)

Edit to add I have a 4 inch difference from standing to leaning measurements, so that might make a strapless bra harder to find?
