so we have a lot of fictives. we're active in some fictionkin spaces, because the people there are generally pretty kind and our host is a fictionkin. we came home today to this message (cropped and slightly marked out for emphasis on the part we're talking about here) saying that it was ableist to treat fictives like they can have doubles.

first off, what? how is it ableist? some of our headmates genuinely have had panic attacks from seeing "doubles" (in quotations because according to this person doubles don't exist).

also, the term double just refers to someone with the same identity. it's like looking in a mirror. some people don't like it, some do. same goes for fictives, especially Azul and Jekyll- Azul because of remembering himself and Jekyll because of what he did- and that is genuinely horrifying for them.

my point is, fictives can have doubles. and some fictives don't like doubles. so please, for the love of the gods, just fuck off and stop using your own DID to prove misinformation.

So I was trapped in front with the WORST two freaks. And for once, the blond nuisances I speak of don't include Hyde. While I'm typing this, Logan is talking to a friend in a call and Vash is listening to music.

Anyways, we were at a friend's party (we are bodily a teenager, so yes we attend birthday parties) and at a candy store. Joyous and whimsical, I know. But not only did we find a "nose bleed soda" from the section of oddly flavored sodas, I also found a sour candy test tube. Of course we grabbed both.

Later, on a bench, I was drinking my test tube. Very nice green apple taste. Our friend cracked a joke, and I proceeded to CHOKE on said test tube for a solid two minutes. And after rereading The Glass Scientists, no less, so the memories were already quite fresh in my mind.

Logan had a lot of fun with his blood soda, but I was reeling for quite a while. The flashbacks were so awfully vivid. And for once, I didn't have Lanyon by my side or Hyde to yell at me. Just Logan and Vash doing their own thing.
