Have had my desk for a few years now, as a result I couldn't tell you what model it is or what sort of control box it is. A few months back it would occasionally beep, and then would require unplugging and replugging to restart. Then it stopped responding at all. I couldn't figure out where the issue was, so I found a bundle of parts that included the controller, a new motor, and the screen with the buttons. It did not include the cable that goes from the wall to the controller, but I figured this would be enough to replace any or all parts that needed to be replaced, even enough to replace everything if there was a mismatch.
I plugged the parts into each other outside of the desk using my existing power cable. After a brief delay and no indication on the new screen, it beeped and then did nothing. When putting the new control box in the place of the old one (which does nothing, but does seem to have a small clicking noise when plugged in?) it did the same thing, a single beep and then no response, but when using the old screen (as opposed to the new one that came in the kit) it reads 8.8.8 during the beep. I have tried many combinations here.
Old control box+anything else=no response when plugged in, a small clicking noise from the box.
New control box+new screen= beep and then nothing.
New control box+old screen=8.8.8 on screen, beep, and then no response.
Have tried holding buttons down for a long time, unplugging, and other reset procedures I found online, but can't figure anything out here.
Happy to add any photos needed or other information to help diagnose this. Threw up a few to hopefully be able to narrow the issue. I'm stumped on this one.
