I recently had a very frustrating experience with Flipkart that happened not once, but twice.
First, I ordered an Orient ceiling fan. Delivery was smooth and on time. I raised an installation request via Flipkart and even received technician details and contact number. But suddenly, the request was marked as "completed/canceled" without any OTP, confirmation, or visit.
Because of this, I couldn’t get it installed—doing it myself would void the warranty, so I had to initiate a return.
I assumed it might be an issue with the Orient brand, so after about 10 days I ordered an Atomberg fan instead. But the exact same thing happened again:
Installation request generated
Technician details received
Request auto-canceled without OTP or service
To make things worse, when I raised complaints, those were also closed without proper resolution.
This feels like a systemic issue or a very unethical practice—closing service requests and complaints without actually providing service.
Has anyone else faced this with Flipkart? Any suggestions on how to escalate this further?
