A little background information we are both minors (f16) and have been planning a camping trip for the last week somewhere 4 hours on a train away for her birthday next week.
It’s not the safest idea as anyone could tell you, so she told me to tell my mom that we were going with her older (19f) sister; which i did.
Today I get a message saying she’s told her mom i lied and now we can’t go unless my mom knows that it’s going to be only us…
Now i’m spending time trying to convince my mom to let me go alone (doing the impossible). Some extra information, I have some problems at home and me and my mom get into scuffles so I spend time at my aunts, like I am right now and have been for the past 2 weeks, which my friend already knows. Along with the fact that I am 16, jobless, and attending college full time. Although my friend is the same age, she’s autistic and gets benefits ranging from 500-1000£ all into her bank account (with some exaggerated disabilities for the extra cash).
Because of this i’m sort of expecting not to spend much on this camping trip as it is because of the amount of money she’s pulling in with nothing to spend it on. Also because i’m incapable of getting the money to actually go on this trip with where I am now with a total of £20 in my bank thanks to spending some on her presents next week, aswell as the fact I can’t ask my mom for money because of the situation we’re in and I also think it’s very pricy.
The messages I received after though, were seriously inconsiderate and i feel as if she’s trying to guilt trip me about the money, which I get, but is very unrealistic. I mentioned about doing it next year since my mom said no,when she’s 18 so we can go to actual camp sites and not wild camping but then she mentioned the money again.
This might be jealousy talking but this is the same girl that spent £500 on a gecko and all of its equipment because she “felt like getting one”. Thats something people have to put real consideration into and yet she got one because she felt like it.
I’m just seriously annoyed at this and have no one to talk to about it, I just need to know AIO?
side note- I know we’re still young and all that jazz lets get that over with
. I’m also very aware of how dangerous it is I think she’s just extremely set on this idea and i tried to be as calm as possible while talking to her
