Why do rugged phones always look insane? 😂

Every time I search one, it looks like a transformer with 3 flashlights and a battery that can power a village.

But honestly… kinda tempting.

Anyone using one as a daily phone? Is it annoying carrying that much weight or you get used to it?

Just got the Phonemax P20 — battery is insane, thermal cam is actually useful?

I recently picked up a Phonemax P20 mainly because I needed something durable for outdoor use, but I didn’t expect the battery to be this crazy. The 10,000 mAh easily lasts me more than a full day (sometimes 2 depending on usage), which is a huge upgrade from my previous phone.

What surprised me more is the thermal camera. I thought it would be more of a gimmick, but it actually works pretty well. I tested it around the house and outdoors — you can clearly spot heat differences, even small ones. The range seems pretty wide too (I read it goes from around -15°C up to 550°C).

I’m curious though — has anyone here used thermal imaging on a phone for something practical? Like for outdoor, repairs, or anything else? Would love to hear real use cases.

Overall pretty impressed so far, but still testing it out.
