So im currently in the first 8th of book 2 and Rand is really really really getting under my skin. I get that he's still a child, I get that a lot is happening but CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE UP YOUR MIND. First he says he'll leave to protect everyone. Then he just continues as if nothing's wrong. Didn't you say you'll leave? Ohhh yeah I will. KEEPS DELAYING. The Amyrlin Seat is suddenly here. Ohhh no, I really need to get away now. I'll insult everyone and leave. Can't anymore. Someone hides him. Alarm sounds, ohhhh I'm just going to running around the entire estate like a headless chicken. Ok things have calmed down, you have permission to leave. No, I'll stay. Your friends are ok. DELAYS. Now you're being summoned by the Amyrlin Seat. Ok you were right I should have left yesterday, I'm gonna go now. PLEASE STOP THIS TORTURE, MAKE A DECISION AND GO THROUGH WITH IT.
Regardless I'm enjoying the story so far. It just gets annoying how some characters act sometimes. "Don't take any treasure from this place." You know what sounds nice, grabbing this lovely dagger. "You need to be separated from the power of the dagger." Sigh, wouldn't it be lovely if I ran away and totally ignored the advice of someone who's been studying magic longer than I've been alive. "We're being chased by the dark one's minions." Let's stand out and make money. I swear those 3 boys annoy me at times.
