AITA for not talking to my family?

Okay so look. I’m 20 M and I just finished my sophomore year of college. I’ve been told throughout the semester my family is upset that I don’t call them, but here’s the kicker. They call everybody else, but I’m the one who has to call them? It’s mainly my grandmother, but now my aunt (who I live with) is upset that I didn’t really talk to her a lot this semester. But here’s why I don’t talk to my aunt all that often

  1. Her punishments were rough and unnecessary. She would put me on punishment for at least a month and I was isolated from everybody. Those times were pure mental torture. I didn’t learn any form of a lesson, I just grew resentment

  2. She criticizes everything I do and say. I’m sorry but nobody wants to constantly be criticized and be watched 24/7.

  3. It’s college. I chose a school 7 hours away from home to escape everything related to home, aka my aunt and her bs.

Now, I’m not saying my aunt is a terrible human being, but I’m being made out to be a bad guy for not talking to her or my grandmother, who has a tendency is running her mouth and calling everybody the most BESIDES ME.

What do you think? Am I the asshole?
