Degenerative Disk Disease
Hello everyone,
Over the past 6 years, I’ve had pain underneath my left breast, ribs and on the opposite side on my back. It has recently gone to my shoulder. Additionally, sometimes it goes on my left leg.
I’ve always thought this pain was heart or lungs related. Every time I go to the doctor everything comes back normal (ekg, blood pressure, heart rate, etc). I’ve had multiple drs tell me it’s anxiety.
In 2008 I broke 4 vertebrae in my back (car accident). In 2021 I was in another car accident and got an MRI. They told me I had Degenerative disk disease and disk herniation.
I never put two and two together- but could the new pain under my breast/ back stem from my original injury? Could it be possible nerve pain?
I am at a loss and in severe pain daily. Any comments would be appreciated.
